3 Cliffs Bay, The Gower Peninsula, South Wales.
Three Cliffs Bay is part of Oxwich Bay, near Swansea on the Gower Peninsula. This beautiful beach, with its golden sands, is well worth a visit. The three cliffs jut into the bay, seen here at low tide, diverting the river Penard Pill, which meanders across the beach into the Bristol Channel. At high tide the cliffs are surrounded by water.
